Can anyone help.
We are about to knock down our existing single storey garage and rebuild with another storey on top. the people living next to us their house is built at an angle from ours but the corner is within 3m of where we are going to rebuild. We notified them of our intentions in writing and asked if they would like to discuss the issue further. We then received a reply from a surveyor, who will act as go between (how nice of them). So unfortunately it looks as if we are having to go down this route has any body got any idea of the likely cost of using such organisations.
The property next door is higher than ours consequently, it is very likely that we will be digging belowe their foundations.:(:)
